Exclusive Florence Villa - VILLA BORGO SAN LORENZO (accommodates 7 in a living space of 240m2) (3 double rooms) Thanks to the collaboration of a famous Italian architect, a former hayloft has been transformed to a large villa. It makes part of a larger set of buildings, which have preserved the Tuscan farmhouse style. The villa Borgo San Lorenzo is surrounded by Mugello's hilly countryside which is a natural reserve. Also it is in the area where the famous painter Giotto was born.

Exclusive Accommodation in Tuscany - THE VILLA: During the restoration process, re-using natural materials was crucial. Elm wood was used and terracotta was used for the floor tiles. The bathroom is lined with marble and generally the furniture in the house is a combination of old meets new Italian styles.
 

Exclusive Florence Villa - ACCOMMODATIONS: On the bottom floor there is a dining room, a bedroom, a kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, 1 WC and a laundry room. An original staircase leads to the first floor where there is a master bedroom including main room, dressing room and bathroom. Also on the first floor is a twin bedroom with a bathroom. All bathrooms have modern facilities.

 

SERVICIES :The private garden specifically for guests is aligned with botanical plants, natural to the area and has a swimming pool (6x12m) with a lovely water fountain. This also shared with the guests staying at 'Muccianello'. Inside there are all the necessary facilities and appliances: 4 satellite tv's, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, microwave and oven, burglar alarm, safe, AC system in 2 bedrooms and old fireplace. The garden and swimming pool are supervised by staff. There is a covered barbecue area with a picnic table seating 6. There is private parking for 3 cars. For golfers, there's a lovely golf course just 10km away and the Lake Bilancino with its surfing and sailing possibilities lies only 16km away. 5km away there is a place providing horseback riding facilities. Shopping areas and hospitals are only a few min. drive away. A private automatic gate leads to the villa (remote control given on arrival). Villa Borgo San Lorenzo is an ideal place where cultural elements and modern developments contrast and yet compliment one another.
